The markets traded lower on Friday, however, they managed to hold key support areas and close right around 1080 on the S&P. We've mentioned a few times that until there is a solid sign of the trend turning negative, we are still in an uptrend. Today, it will be important to keep an eye on the 1070-1072 area on the S&P, if this can be held, it will be a bullish sign. Futures are pointing to a higher opening, so the first level of support to keep an eye on is once again the 1079-1080 area. As for the day trade, again, if the markets look like they are holding support, buying the pull back is the trade, using a break of the support areas as a stop. As always, use stops/trailing stops you are comfortable with. Currently, futures are pointing to a higher opening.
